I have the best husband in the world. He is standing in line at the grocery store purchasing eggs, pasteurized egg whites, round flavourless toothpicks, and gelatin. Meanwhile, I am here smelling fresh-baked Yellow Butter Cake cooling on a rack... and watching episodes of Petzl Roctrip.
Time for round 2. Going to test my 12" pan with my newly purchased heating core. I really need to buy more cake pans...
