Sad news

I made the raspberry puree, the chocolate butter cake, ganache, and fondant. However, I got side-tracked and made an impromptu chocolate cake for the neighbours. They got robbed. Everything was taken including the food they had in the fridge. Still, that's not the worst news in our neighbourhood. A small child was killed in a car accident just a block away. This weekend has been filled with sadness and bad news. I am a very fortunate person and will try not to complain so much about the conditions I live in. I have a roof over my head, food to eat, a loving husband, and wonderful fur children, among other blessings.
