Dove soap saved my hands

I've made 12 lbs of rolled fondant in the last couple days. That's 6 times the amount of cleaning out a mixing bowl & utensils, measuring, and kneading on a greased table. Do you know the amount of powdery icing sugar mess that makes? I'm surprised I'm not having nightmares of this.

Also, greasing your hands so often means you've got to wash your hands a million times. Before, I was just using a generic liquid soap until I ran out and had to use a Dove beauty bar. That and using an ice pack has certainly made the fondant-making process a lot more bearable than in the past.

FYI, the raspberry filling is made and chilling out in the fridge (in the lovely red bowl I received from the couple at Christmas). I have to redo my 6 inch tier now since the pan shrinkage would have made the cake look glaringly disproportionate. Time to bake again.
